Only $325 for a 27 hour program, why is it so Cheap? Simple, we are a privately owned company and we only need 3 students to cover the cost of instructors (example, we can pay our instructors up to $35 an hour and there are 27 hours of instruction which is a total cost of $1080). Unlike other companies, the owners live here in Santa Clarita and are vested partners with the SCV schools and businesses.

How To Enroll

Students interested in participating in the Lighthouse Learning Center SAT Prep Class have three options for enrollment.

  • The standard, full-price cost of our course is an amazingly low $250. Compare this price with other programs costing upwards of $899*! This price puts quality instruction within the reach of many students who might otherwise have been unable to benefit from such a program. Apply early to guarantee a place in our classes because space is limited.

  • Thanks to cooperation between Lighthouse Learning Center and generous SCV business and individual donors (such as Magazine of Santa Clarita), Lighthouse Learning Center is proud to offer a limited number of FULL SCHOLARSHIPS to qualified students. If you would like to apply for one of these scholarships, please click on the Scholarship Application at the bottom of this page and print out the form. Bring your completed form to Lighthouse Learning Center for evaluation. You will be notified by email or phone if your student's application has been accepted. Students awarded a full scholarship will also be asked to submit a letter of gratitude for publication in the quarterly newsletter sent to our donors, as well as complete 5 hours of SCV community service. We may ask students to attend a banquet in honor of those who have successfully completed the SAT Prep Class.

  • A final means of participation in our program is finding a sponsor for your student. Simply print out the Sponsor Pledge, found at the bottom of this page, and submit the completed form to Lighthouse Learning Center. Many businesses and individuals are concerned about the future of today's students and are willing to take an active role in assisting your student.

For those who understand the value of personalized instruction in preparation for the SAT, Lighthouse Learning Center also offers 20 hr. SAT Prep classes. These classes will offer students an introductory coverage of techniques and strategies equipping students to excel in each of the three main areas of the SAT exam: writing, critical reading and mathematics. Small class sizes and personable instructors will ensure that your student receives the individual attention necessary to help him or her do their best on the SAT exam. Lighthouse Learning Center will offer these classes regularly depending on registration. Again, please contact Lighthouse Learning Center to register for our next class or for more information.
